  My boyfriend and I were excited to visit this store to shop for a birthday present for my little brother. Unfortunately, our experience quickly turned negative due to the way we were treated by an employee. While we were looking at a large plush whale sitting on top of a shelf and trying to find the price tag, an employee walked by and told us, “You shouldn’t touch that if you’re not going to buy it.” The comment came across as very rude and unwelcoming.   I never write reviews but I haven’t gotten this store and the customer service out of my mind for almost a week. I’m a single mom, work full time, needed to get Christmas shopping done, but my son was not being agreeable. Several employees asked kindly how they could help but I told them I didn’t need any. I had a basket full of items and was trying to figure things out.   So this store has an amazing selection, but there are toys that aren’t the best quality that are more than they should cost. It’s a toy store for the rich. We didn’t buy anything. Even a cute silicone pen was $5 and I own $100 pens. It wasn’t worth $5.

  $41 for this is Shar Pei dog is outrageous, especially that they consider it "deportation, not to play with" very stupid. I rarely come here, when I do, I find something cute. Pokemon are wayy overpriced, i found shops with cheaper packs! $14 for a single pack vs 8.99 for a single pack, also never see many people when i go in. Wouldn't be suprised since they are overpriced, toys r us offered low prices on toys

  We love shopping here. They always have quality items for everyone's birthday. Staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions when you don't know what to get for a classmate etc. Love having the gifts wrapped and ready to hand to the birthday child when I leave the store.   This is where I purchased my son’s first Kidz Bop CD—hardly anyone sells CDs anymore, so that tells you it’s been a while. After a couple of visits back then, I had a bad experience and started going to the North Hills location instead. Recently, I was pressed for time and decided to stop in again since it had been years. As expected, Learning Express still has a great selection.   We had a very positive and fun shopping experience at their Cary location. This store has a large variety of STEM toys, cool gift items and surprisingly pets ! The costumer service here is unmatched and the store layout is clean and engaging. We visited today just to browse for Christmas gifts. My daughter stumbled across colorful biospheres that houses African Dwarf frogs. A small aquatic frog native to parts of Equatorial Africa. Each biosphere comes with 2 frogs.
