This place has it all. The RC car selection like Traxxas will Blow your mind. The staff is knowledgeable about products and parts. Just found out they have mini Z cars on Thursdays. What ever your hobby is. These guys have it and are into it too.

Late March '25: Changing from 3-star to 1-star. Stopped in to check their scale model and building supplies selection, and this store should drop the HobbyTown moniker. Only a handful of scale model planes and gunpla, and only two handfuls of scale armor models. Glue variety is trending down and the paints are running out of stock. Nearly the whole store is devoted to an RC track for electric cars, but that's the only hobby getting any attention from the owner/manager. I hope they turn it around. While I was browsing I heard a few potential customers come in and inquire about non-rc hobb

First time here, came just to see what they had in stock. Found out they have a indoor track. Asked one employee behind counter what they had in stock that i could drive on the track and he told me to look on the arena website... i was not trying to do all that, you know what you sell and what can be used on the track. I left and came back after lunch and i asked a different employee and he quickly took and showed me what they have. Just goes to show you what employee loves they job and goes above and beyond while others dont want to go the extra mile. 5/5 for rc selection and what they sell b

Don't know when this place got so boring. Nothing but a very limited stock of overpriced RC stuff. Hobby town used to be great once. They should change their name Hobby Village, or maybe Hobby Hamlet.

Tl;dr: Great for RC cars, awful for everything else. HobbyTown North COS was great, but closed a while ago. Thought I'd visit this one again to scratch my itch. Previously it had been a pretty good and well-rounded store. Now? It's an RC car store, and nothing else. For literally every other hobby content you might visit a HobbyTown for, what they have looks like just like clearance bin dregs that they haven't been able to unload yet. You're better off shopping at Hobby Lobby or Michael's.

This location feels so unlike the hobby towns in Denver. Shelves are empty and the only hobbies the store seems to focus on are some models and RC cars. I saw nothing when it came to RC planes/Drones and was unable to find a charger for my LiPo batteries. The only reason I give it two stars is because the staff was friendly, and specifically for rc car enthusiasts, this place may suit them.

As a longtime customer, I gotta say, I'm really disappointed in the absolute gutting of their selection after the move to their new venue, and the seeming focus on RC car racing has been a bit of a let down. The new space is nice and all that, but if I have to ask staff to order simple bits and bobs for my hobby projects, I think I'm a little better off heading to the Aurora location on an off day for the selection, seeing if local competitors have it for the instant gratification, or god forbid, saving money with Daddy Bezos. Again great for RC indoor track racing and builds, lackluster in

This store seems to have more or less given up on being a place for anyone other than RC enthusiasts (and based on some recent reviews they aren't doing well on that front either). Terse and unattentive staff. They have an RC track you can pay to use. Their total selection for anything that isn't RC is probably about 100 total items of assorted nonsense. Poor model kit selection, no trains, no games, a random smattering of paints and other hobby supplies. This store used to be good and the employees were nice, now I don't know what's going on. I'll be shopping elsewhere because I can't even re
