Not friendly or helpful with new customers… I guess that’s how the shop is. Same experience with the man after me. They got good stuff though.

TLDR: this has the worst customer experience and service hands down; call before you attempt to come here or just go to San ysidro games for a great customer experience, service, set times for open and close and yugioh! Only photos I got before being asked to stop my review I wanted to review all Yugioh shops in San Diego highly but I guess nothing is that easy. Not friendly people unfortunately they have a good shop with a fair amount of cards but it should be ran with different management or customer service in mind. I’m not a stickler on it but the bare minimum should be atleast warranted;

I had a disappointing experience at GameZone in San Diego. When I walked in, the staff member didn’t acknowledge me or offer any assistance. Even when I asked a question, I felt like he was uninterested in helping, which made me feel like a burden. I had some valuable cards with me and was hoping to discuss a deal or store credit, but the lack of engagement led me to leave without any further interaction. Overall, it was not a welcoming experience.

Your first stop for games and collectibles. Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Anime figures, sports collectibles, Funko, video games, comics, Custom skateboard parts, sleeves, deck poses, whole boxes This small family owned and operated store will give you a better deal than almost anywhere else. They have been around for at least 15 years and is the place to go for everything card games and more.

It's the only shop for Yu-Gi-Oh singles in San Diego so I have to come here but this is the worst card shop I've ever been to. They are always extremely rude, they have no website or any way to reasonably find out information about when the store is closed or when hours change. They have a huge collection of singles but won't bother searching through them if you have more than 10 cards you need and since they have no website you can't ever buy more than a card or two. Their cards are also extremely overpriced compared to online prices. I keep coming back to try and support them but I get burne

Great Place for sealed TCG products. Really great Place for friendly tournaments and Casual Play. The owners are cool and Speak Spanish if needed be. They also have a great singles and Merchandise. Their space is big and can host about 40 people. Really cool spot just located in Ghetto lemon Grove and parking kind of sucks. This is my Home spot so I give them the benefit of the doubt. Noah is Amazing and has been the Temporary replacement for the Current Professor but is definitely one of the nicest and chillest people I have ever met. Met some really fun and 😎 chill peeps there like Scott

Best prices for Magic the Gathering stuff. They are starting up a somewhat casual commander night on Tuesdays at 6pm which has been a lot of fun. Don't know why so many reviews are so sensitive about the staff. They are always helpful to me and all of my friends. Yeah it's a family run shop and God forbid they have to change hours sometimes for emergencies, events, and issues they have in their lives. I have been to many other card shops that I won't go back to because of the way I was treated but this is the only one I go to anymore.
