  This place is convenient to my house and has a good selection (been there twice), but one of the employees made me very upset because I made an innocent mistake. I went early one day with my bf, wasn't paying attention and forgot not to carry the stack of comics with me downstairs where the bf was. Literally just slipped my mind that I shouldn't have done that, and I understand it was a mistake I made. The employee came down and condescending told me I couldn't bring my new comic downstairs and there is a sign, and I should have seen the sign, and the sign is on the door, and that's why there'

  I stopped by on a whim. It is a great little shop with a wide selection of modern books and a $1.00 basement. The staff was friendly and knew a lot about comics. They also talked about a local comic creator who would be in the shop to sign and talk about his book, which is a common occurrence when I asked. Highly recommend stopping by this shop and support the local area

  I absolutely adore this shop! My only regret is not visiting them sooner. The owner has a ton of comic book knowledge and is very kind. I talked to an employee, Leo, for a good half an hour about Batman and it was great to have a place to be a nerd. I'll be coming back a lot more!

  Such a nice place with great comics, it’s just I feel so uncomfortable in this store. Employees give a strange vibe, like they’re literally judging me. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I also had my friend tell me the store atmosphere seem off. The employees stare like a hawk which makes me feel like there is something wrong with ME! I haven’t been able to buy anything without me just walking out of the store out to awkwardness between me and the employees.

  I visited Universal Comics today on Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) for the first time and I had a really great time! I spent close to 5 hours flipping through every comic they had (except all the titles I wasn't shopping for upstairs). Their basement has dozens of long boxes filled with $1 comics (they are $1 every day) and there's some really good stuff down there! There's all the popular superheroes like Deadpool, Spider-Man, Gwenpool, Wolverine, Superman, Conan, and Green Lantern and Batman. You'll also find old Archie titles, Sad Sack, Kid Colt, Rawhide Kid and Marvel Team-Up. If you look lon

  This store is epic! They don't open until the afternoon, so you'll have to wait until noon to get your comic fix. I picked up a few comics and met some really awesome employees, including the owner. They have a great selection and even have a trading program! I would live in this store if they would let me 😄...nostalgia x10 and I loved it!
