  Tucson Gaming Gadgets is hands down my favorite place to spend my Tuesday nights! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of board games, and it’s such a fun and relaxed environment to play in. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just getting into the hobby, it’s a wonderful spot to hang out, meet people, and enjoy some great games. Highly recommend!

  I went into this store and was told to leave my backpack at the door,I have autism and this is unsettling for me but I complied. Another customer walked past me wearing a backpack in the store,this wasn't ok with me to pick and choose which customers have to follow your fearful policies.Either enforce your rule or don't have them, it looks really bad when you profile your customers out of fear, I won't be shopping here and neither will anyone I know. I hope changes are made because this store used to feel kinda magical and now it feels like you're being yelled at to buy something,not the liter

  Great atmosphere and the Short Rest Tavern has a great selection of drinks. Remember though, it's not a restaurant so don't expect traditional food. It's mostly microwavable, which when you're just playing games and drinking is totally fine. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and are very positive.

  I come to Tucson Games and Gadgets every once in while. As it is pretty cool to walk through the store to see all the different board games that they have for sale. I was in the store last weekend (last weekend of November 2025), I noticed that they had Tucson Edition Monopoly. Honestly it was pretty cool looking and very well thought out. I believe that they had 3 in stock at the Tucson Mall location. I bought two of them for Christmas presents for family and a friend.   Janae gave us an awesome grand tour! She was so energetic and bubbly and definitely rolled an 18 in Charisma. This place has it all. There is a Magic the Gathering hangout area, a shop packed with new and used board games and books, D&D minis available to use during campaigns and lots you can buy to take home, a space to play tabletop games, and an actual tavern that any D&D, Warcraft, or Witcher fan will absolutely love. Brad, the bar manager, was super cool too. After the tour he shared all his knowledge about meads, drinks, and snacks that are perfect for any quest. We had a blast talking

  This place deserves 5 stars for products, vibe, and service. They have bulk mtg and other cards you can sort through which has really helped me out. The table fee is very reasonable ($5) and you can pay for it by buying anything in the store or with a drink from the Short Rest Tavern in the back. Every member of the staff here has been so kind and helpful, special review shoutout to Janae for great service. Definitely check out TGG and the Short Rest Tavern!
