Such an inviting store! The staff was friendly and helpful. The selection of games was great and they have a lot of expansions/add ons for games we hadn’t seen before. Priced appropriately. Wished we lived closer to go back often!

Great selection of board games and sealed magic the gathering cards (and others). Prices are really reasonable. There are some bulk boxes to look through, which I really appreciate. Great store!

Incredibly disappointed to see them selling a box of OP-14 for 240 dollars on their website. Bandai MSRP is around 120. I understand scalpers exist and the need to make a profit. However, other smaller, local game stores in the area are selling from 125-140. There is no reason but greed to sell at the current price. As of right now, I can even get a box off TCGP at $230ish. I’ve never seen a store sell product more expensive over TCGP price. Make sure to do your research before buying product here.

The store itself is great. However, management/staff clearly does not have a problem cultivating a community that is genuinely disgusting on a hygiene level. Having gone in for a couple different events over the last 6-8 months, I have been subjected to smells I have not had to deal with in a game store for years. Portland is lucky to have so many game stores, and many of them have seemingly cultivated communities that either just don’t have this problem or self police for it well. PGS is evidently not one of those stores. Relatedly, the way some of the patrons treat the bathroom is obscene.

Great spot with friendly employees! Huge selection of MTG packs and singles here. My friends and I came by a few times to get some packs to rip and got a couple singles as well that we wanted. I didn't realize they had an iPad setup for the singles, but they were nice when I mentioned something in the case and made sure it wasn't already spoken for. They seem to have a really poppin spot for the local MTG community as I saw a bunch of people playing here at night. Lots of other games available as well and decent pricing on most packs.

This shop is fantastic! Went for MTG. Amazing prices, solid variety of singles to choose from, incredible online store, endless dragon shield sleeve colors, cool place to play and drink with some buddies.

Good selection. Rentals available to play at one of their many tables or to take home and if you liked it enough to buy it, your rental fee goes towards your purchase. Really great staff. I hear there's beer on tap although I didn't have time to partake. Parking can be tricky sometimes but I managed to score a spot out front. Will definitely be back.
