  Strangeways is my go-to comic store. As an artist, I felt completely welcomed the moment I walked through the door. I’ve been invited to events they’ve hosted, and it’s been genuinely humbling to be part of the community they foster there. Beyond that, the place just oozes nostalgia. It feels like going into your basement, popping in a VHS you’re too young to watch, listening to music you’re not supposed to hear yet, and cruising through stacks of books that feel a little dangerous in the best way.
