  Very cute and Quant board game store. Had a decent variety of both classic and new board games. Lots of tables set up for when hosting board game nights or table top games. The k9 assistant manager was very good at showing us around the shop. The human was also very helpful with suggestions for a new board game to buy. Very reasonable priced for a new independent shop. Will definitely be going back again for some expansions.

  I absolutely love coming to John and Jake’s (and yes, Jake totally counts as a co-owner in my book)! It’s the perfect spot for casual Commander nights—great vibes, welcoming players, and always a fun time. While I do wish they sold singles, cracking packs and hanging out makes every visit worth it. If you’re into Magic: The Gathering and want a chill, friendly place to play, this is the store to check out!

  Absolutely amazing shop. We drove down from Florence in search of somewhere to hang out and play Magic, and we were not disappointed! Between amazing product prices, the friend owner (whose name I never caught sadly), and his lovely dog Jake, I cannot recommend this shop more!
