  I grew up going to Northwest Sportscards back when it was next to Albertsons. My son is into sports cards now, and, I have to say, they are committed to drawing repeat customers by creating great experiences. Their staff are genuinely interested in cards and collectibles, and they engage with their customers, young and old. My son bought some basketball cards on his birthday, and they gifted him a big box of cards! Really made his day.

  My boyfriend has visited here once and saw that they had Lorcana singles so he's been wanting to bring me here ever since. We had the opportunity to stop by as we were in the area. Unfortunately, I never got to see the Lorcana binder as my boyfriend never pointed it out and assumed I knew where it was. But that just means we can come visit again some other time.   Wow, what a great card shop! Better prices and customer service than other card shops we have been to. I brought my 11 year old son here and he was in heaven with all the baseball cards they had to offer. He also loved the area in back by the games that had signed memorabilia. The staff was so good with him, asked who his favorite players were and then recommended packs that he was most likely to get his favorite players in. They also gave him some free cards!   Great local card shop. Staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a pretty decent selection of new releases and old stock in packs and boxes. They shine on their supplies selection. I didn't know they made top loaders for a sports illustrated. They have that. 2 thumbs up. Would strongly recommend if you're into the hobby.

  I went to NW Sportcards to find someone Pokémon cards for my kid. I know nothing about the world of cards. The staff was super friendly and helped guide me towards what I was ultimately looking for. They had some great deals on some box sets as well as packs. 10/10 would definitely recommend and I will go back there for any card or memorabilia needs in the future!

  TLDR: One of the best card stores in Tacoma, and I suspect the greater Puget Sound - best prices, best staff, and a great scene for Pokemon/MtG. Disclaimer - The contents of this review will be constrained to the gaming/TCG side of the storefront since I have no experience with the sportscard part of the store. Prices - The store has some of the fairest and most reasonable prices for product in the area - I have not found a better value for buying sealed product for Pokemon or Magic the Gathering in the area.
