  Was in the neighborhood today so I stopped by for the first time. Lots of stuff…I really liked the main focus on local/regional teams and players as that’s what I primarily care about. Enjoyed digging through the dollar boxes and will be back to spend more time. Also cool that the entire inventory wasn’t jacked up slabs! Definitely fills avoid left unaddressed by other local stores. Two suggestions-it would be cool to have prices on the cards in the cases. Also, some cases were covered or blocked so it was hard to see stuff! Glad I stopped by and will be back.

  Stopped by this week while in Madison. I was in need of a few card supplies and I like to buy from local shops. One of the items I wanted was sealed in a larger quantity than I needed and Jim was kind enough to open the box of holders and sell me half since that is all I needed. He didn't have to do that.   This is my father‘s business and he has been in this business for almost 30 years now he is an expert in this field. It is his passion. He has books that tell him exactly how much certain cards are worth.   Jim will take his time to look at your cards. He also has a ton of stories to tell. This is what the hobby is all about. If you take your time you can find a hidden gem here. The reason for the 3 stars is because finding that hidden gem may take a few hours due to the disorganization of the store. Years and years of collecting stacked on top of eachother.

  Jim seems like a great guy once you get to know him, my fiancé and I went looking to potentially sell some cards, and just browse. Card box prices were a bit higher than I was expecting, however he did have some at a good price. Right from the get go, the place didn’t feel very welcoming, more so felt like I was interrupting his work. Could have just been a stressful situation I was walking into, but at the end of the day Jim was relatively respectful.

  For all the people that are commenting complaining about the shop being closed when it’s supposed to be open this is a Shop run by my father and my elderly grandmother who both have had health issues in the past few years and both needed time to recover. we’ve Also had deaths in the family And emergency’s just come up OK this is not Costco.   Went in there cause he seemed like he was very interested in the newer series of cards and he I started pulling my cards out and immediately said I don’t want any of those from the first bag I pulled out witch ironically was the bag he pulled all the ones he did want out and after going through them all he had probably like 30-40 cards picked out and he low balled the hell out of me saying “I’ll give you $10 for them all” claiming that they would go in his dollar section… I could tell he was being shady so I declined his offer and went to another store that was more then happy with my collecti
