  Five stars aren't enough for Ideal Baseball Cards and Coins! I've been collecting for years. This is one of the most well-stocked and welcoming shops I've ever visited. The selection is top-notch, with an impressive variety of sports cards and memorabilia, including a huge amount of vintage items. The owner, Mike, is the real MVP here. He's so easy to work with and genuinely passionate about the hobby. This is the place to go if you're looking for anything from new products to autographed items. A visit here is a home run, especially if you're a Reds fan!

  First thing first, this shop has so much to it. Its mostly geared to more of the vintage crowd BUT they have enough modern that you will find what you're looking for. The pricing is fair and Mike will also work with you. If you're looking for cards, this is the best place to go

  Great shop! My father in law told me about it as my son is interested in collecting things. My husband and I occasionally buy silver coins and my FIL said Mike is the best guy around. Ended up buying a 100 oz silver brick from him, great prices and great atmosphere all around! We love going to this store

  My friends and I stopped at Ideal on a trip to Cincinnati. We had an absolutely great experience. It is a truly unique old school sports card shop. They do not buy or sell online; they rely only on what walks through the door. They have so much stock, all well ordered (even if it doesn't appear so ;)) and were very helpful. They had items that are difficult to find anywhere else as well as all of the current trendy items. They had stock for low end people like myself as well as more high end fans like my friends.   This dude is a joke. Says he doesn't buy basketball cards and when a guy in the store made a racial comment about it being "a bunch of monkeys chasing each other around in their pajamas" he laughed and basically said pretty much. Also wouldn't buy gold and claimed to be able to tell it wasn't real by looking at it yet when I take it to a place down the road they tested and bought it.

  Upon entry I was astonished at the wide variety and selection of baseball memorabilia and cards, they have really used every square inch offered to them and they dont make it feel cramped! I would return again for any of my hobby needs. The guy running the counter (i wish i caught his name) is a great guy and also helped me out when i was in need! We need more businesses like this!

  Literally the third straight time I came here during normal business hours in the last month and the door is locked, hire someone please!!! What used to be excitement for this place has turned into resentment. HIRE MORE HELP! Allso get tap and pay, it's literally a single one time investiment of $100. You're welcome, I will be happy to change this review when I see a living person again in this shop.
