Did I DIE AND GO TO HEAVEN BECAUSE THIS PLACE WAS SO AMAZING??? (For reference I do not LIVE in the Boston area, I visit from time to time… and I have NEVER seen some place as magical as this.) The walls were plastered with nerdy shit. I was so fricking happy there!!! The people here were so friendly, and two times they even clued me in on their deals (20% off comics, 30% off books!) AND I WAS ABLE TO GET A MONSTER HIGH COMIC!! I also found some MLP stuff and an Art Book from The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (and I am so in love with that movie.) I mean this legit felt like the library of Alexandr

Just came in to pick up some Phantasmal Flames Pokemon cards and I have to say it’s probably the friendliest place I’ve been too. There’s this one guy who works there with black hair and glasses who is super nice, helpful and really knowledgeable about pokemon cards, name might be Rob but I’m not sure what I am sure of though is that he’s nicer to me than my dad is. Great atmosphere, great selection of cards. Another guy named Yaakov was so sweet and helpful he really made my second visit out of this world.

Excelsior! Crikey! Holy Moly! Comics!!! The best comic shop in Boston. Unbelievable! Friar Tuck Go! Is this the best comic shop on the East Coast of the United States? Just over a year old and yet it has the atmosphere of confidence and brilliance, because the stock is there and it's set out in a pristine way. Pride and appreciation! There's a wee vid of the construction an incredible and inspiring achievement and now we have a wonderful comic shop. This store has so many comics, so well organized into it's large space. I'm astounded. . There is a massive amount of Marvel, DC and indep

I have never left a bad review but after my experience I left feeling extremely excluded. This was my first time visiting because I love collecting Pokemon cards and I was treated as if I was unwelcome to be looking around. The owner or manager and employees seem to pick and choose who they interact with and how, (kindly vs dismissive) I guess I didn’t fit their idea of what they’re typical customer would be whatever that is. It did not feel like a customer and store experience it was as if I stepped into a comic book/tcg club that I was not welcomed to. They have table set ups with mats and I

Solid collection of comics, but the atmosphere is unwelcoming. The owner comes off as rude and treats customers like potential thieves (there’s even a ‘Smile, you’re on camera’ sign right at the entrance). Prices are heavily marked up despite a constant ‘20% off everything’ deal, which feels more like an illusion of savings than a real discount and is deceptive. The store itself is also quite disorganized.

Very nice store located in the heart of Coolidge Corner, located on a second floor above the little indoor mall. The atmosphere is really nice, not too crowded but has collectibles spread throughout the store. The store seems to specialize in comic books, and there had to be at least 2,000 of them within the store. They have comic books lining nearly all of the walls, and the prices seemed reasonable based on what I could see. A lot of comic books for many different series, as well as a lot of first appearances and key issues within the store, with them being clearly labeled. They also have

Walked in on a whim and was greeted with great hospitality. Amazing selection of vintage comics, posters and TCG cards. At the time, there was an opening promotion going on!

Don't support this business. Owner is very rude to customers. Maybe go in to shop but for MTG events they're very disorganized, poor chair set ups and Tuck himself is horrible. He was very rude to me, lied to my friends about discounts for registering early, and berates his employees. Never go here. Don't let this business continue standing.
