  I'd love to give this place a 5 stars, I frequently this shop often and they sell amazing merchandise! Unfortunately I had a unpleasant experience here yesterday. I understand mistakes happen, but it was mainly the workers condescending additude that was super out of place. As a manager in retail it was absolutely horrible to see workers in customer service act this way. I brought a puzzel that was clearly marked $13.99 up to the counter, and without even acknowledging it she rings me up at ~$20. I asked why and she said it was marked wrong.   The Doc and Mr have it all. The selections they have are huge. From comics, graphic novels, Manga, trading cards, pop figures, and so much more. I get all of my comics with them. I always get a kick of nostalgia and dopamine at every visit. Brings me way back to the years as a kid walking to comic book shops excited for the latest Batman, X-Men, Wolverine, DC, Marvel, Image, and so much more! The best shop in the bay area!

  Decent selection, somewhat disorganized. Had big pieces of cardboard on top of the comic boxes so kind of defeats the purpose of browsing through them. Went in a few days ago, looking for a comic I’d seen in the same store the previous week but didn’t pick up at the time. I didn’t find it where it was previously and looked around a bit, then decided to ask an employee if they knew where it was. Told the name of it to the clerk, who then asked the owner (I think he was the owner) who really didn’t give a damn. He sits in the back of the store on his computer and watches videos or whatever.   went browsing with a friend who found the clerk helpful in finding what he was looking for and where to look in the future. also offered him to order anything specifically that he wanted. He wound up buying more than he probably intended. I found their comic selection very organized and decently priced, almost bought the mystery 10 comics for $5.

  This comic store is one of the oldest and original site location In the Bay Area and that’s an achievement. Very spacious place to look at the many different things that they have for sale. Very large selection of games and new comics. Not to mention a loyalty program, that is rare now a days.
