  Went in just to browse as I haven't been into a comic shop in years. Talked to Zack for about an hour and was such a genuine guy. Very knowledgeable about the industry and could tell he is passionate about the community and genuinely cares. Zack has a big personality and a bigger heart. Went in to browse comics and cards and left with my faith in humanity restored. Thank you Zack!

  I recently just got into collecting dragon ball Z figures. So that one day I could possibly pass them onto my son when hes of age and can appreciate them. The issue is the figures were marketed at $25 on Facebook marketplace. When I got there I was told a few different prices. Totally feel cheated, im just glad I've gotten my Gogeta figure. Thanks for ruining the experience for me dude.

  Very friendly guy running the place, extremely knowledgeable about comics, toys, and artwork. You can tell he is a passionate fan of the medium. A smaller collection of comics, but most of them in excellent collectable condition. Prices are fair. Some cool vintage and modern memorabilia here, had a nice experience and bought a couple nice books.

  I would just like to preface and say that all my experiences before this latest one have been good. The owner is very knowledgeable and has been friendly with me so I was very shocked and insulted over how this visit went. I brought in a Werewolf by Night #32 CGC 5.5 comic book. First appearance and origin of Moonknight, a major marvel key comic. I knew coming in that I wasn’t going to get what I wanted for it and I understand that as a business need to make money and etc. I’m aware of that and I was prepared to take less but it be a reasonable amount because of the major key this book was.   I just want everyone to beware! I was trying to see if I had any comics worth anything. I brought some Supergirl comics for the owner to look at. I had one comic that I saw online that someone was asking for around $45 for. He told me that I didn't really have anything of value that he was interested in and that was the nature of the situation. I happened to start going through those same comics and realized that the one I saw online for $45 was missing. Obviously I don't have proof specifically that he took it but be careful when going into his shop. Make sure you know what you have beforehan

  I dont even know where to start. This place is amazing! I am truly amazed on how good the staff is. The owners are soo nice. They even gave me good deals on pokemon cards! I bought 6! and they have me good selections. I recommend this place a lot , again the owners are nice and they will do there best with there amazing prices and deals to make you walk aways with something nice. They even give you good sleves!   Thursday, June 19 I visited dark star comics in hopes to expand my collection being a new collector. I was heavily reliant on the knowledge provided by the store owner first thing when walking in a massive selection probably one of the best comic book selections by organization that I’ve ever seen however, the first thing I heard when walking in was the owner seemingly having a battle of words with a customer trying to trade in some comics and some cards understandably the customer was being aggressive however, I don’t believe the owner handled it well in any regard the argument seem to be ove
