  The new space is fantastic. The whole store is more open and easy to maneuver through. The playing area is also much larger, and separated from the TCG counter so that customers can browse in a more quiet location. Prices are decent, what you'd expect. They have a pretty good selection of MTG and other TCG singles, plus sealed product for all major TCGs. They have a decent board game selection as well. I wish they did pre-orders for TCGs, but other than that this is my go-to game store in Portland. I have not yet found the time to attend a tournament or game night here, but it's usually pretty

  Update 12/30/25 - they’ve moved down the road to a bigger location! Lots of room for events and retail. This is still my favorite game shop to visit when I’m in town. Update 7/1/25 - they’re still killing it with their selection and awesome customer service! This place has a little of everything, trading cards, plushes, board games, anime figures, blind boxes and card sleeves and mats. They host Gundam building nights and other card game events regularly with a lively community. The owner was super nice and the prices were very fair. I highly recommend a visit.

  EDIT: It's very rare that I get a "response from owner" that makes me actually improve a review, but Chronos pulled it off. The "no masks" sign is indeed gone on days when there isn't a risk of masked individuals harassing the store in a coordinated fashion, and to be honest shows the store cares a lot more about its community than I first thought. I apologize for the overly-harsh original review. I've left it below for honesty and transparency, and while I feel some points of mine stand, like the overhead lighting, the store experience is solid enough that it doesn't deserve to be any lower

  I appreciate their customer service and this is the store I’ve had the most luck on my tcg game pulls. It’s also one of only local card game shops that have Weiss Schwartz with a broad selection which I appreciate. This card game is not easy to find especially locally and so their selection is greatly appreciated. Did I mention the luck is off the charts here? I pulled a serialized LOTR sol ring card from here.

  UPDATE 11/6/2021 I’m so disappointed in how my partner was treated in this store. It’s embarrassing they’re charging over charging for tales of aria 9.00 per back but 100 a box which is a 116% up charge . How does that make sense? When asked about it the manager and employee behind the counter patronized, ridiculed, and made fun of my partner for this. It’s amazing how someone rather make another individual a bad guy instead of admitting for their own fault. The costumer service here is in the sewer, will not be visiting again and I discourage any one else from coming here. Go to Mox Or any

  Waited approximately 15 minutes just to get a price check on a card that they couldn't find a pricing for on TCG thus wouldn't sell me the card (which don't have a card on display if it can't be actively priced) and seemed to not be followed up at any point after. Friend of mine also had to ask different employees for trade-in information.
