  When I was new to the NC area, Chris's Cards & Collectibles was the first small business hobby store I went to. I had a great first impression: I remember calling the store number after forgetting to take some Pokémon cards I purchased and was able to retrieve the cards the next day with no hassle at all. His store has been my go-to place to buy Pokémon cards for the past 3 years, and I've learned so much about the hobby by chatting.   This shop hands down is the most friendly shop in town. Extremely knowledgeable in sports and Pokemon, and fun place to be. I appreciate the market price and knowing TCG is the standard for pricing as opposed to some weird market site. Grading cards at the end of the month is nice too and I trust them to handle my cards better than GameStop. This is my go to shop of choice.

  Chris is THAT dude. Everyone that has come in is super friendly and I'm so grateful to have this place in town. He does fair market trades and has always thrown in a freebie or two (or 7) thanks for those by the way! I love the old info cards! He really cares about the business of keeping it fair and honestly he does more than that. I have never left there unhappy. I was even given a free slab guard for my ancient mew.   Great shop! Willing to work with you weather it's with trading your own collection of Pokémon or sports cards or if you want to buy either. Will take time to look through your collection and give fair offers. If they don't have what you are looking for or won't take what you have they will give you options of where you can go to buy or sell. When it comes to local cards shops I always recommend this shop.

  This shop is the REAL DEALLL!! We’re very fortunate to have some amazing card shops in our area but Chris’s just stands out. TONS of unique singles, packs and boxes. Tons of single sports cards, single Pokémon cards and other super cool things (memorabilia and card trading related). I visited over the weekend as they were about to close for the day and they were extremely patient with me while I was browsing their inventory. Will be back again to buy in the future! Don’t hesitate, just go! It’s worth it! Very friendly and unique shop!
