  Drove over 30 minutes to check out this store. When I arrived the store was locked with a barely noticeable sign taped inside the door that said “Bathroom brb”. It was 40 degrees out and they were not right back. This is not a serious business and should be avoided.

  The backlog will always be happy after a trip here. Our human builder also gets to enjoy "nerding out" with the shop employees and owner about news in the model kit and anime, and game worlds.

  Amazing model shop for import models, only place in town with selection like this. Owners are very knowledgeable of anime source material and love to talk about it, very passionate people! Typically have some fun candy available that you won't find at Asian grocers. Build Up has been an amazing hub for the local plastic model community and would list this as a "must visit" place for anyone interested in the hobby!

  Probably the largest selection of Gunpla I've seen locally. There is a fair amount of turnover in inventory, so going back is a plus. Largest focus is High Grade. Don't see much real or master grade lines. Also other Bandai franchises like 30 Min and Armored Core. Additionally decals and water transfers. Small selection of paints. Finally the experience is a must. I've never been to a retailer where the staff know so much about the shows and Manga. Including suggestions. A visit here is always a informative for me and my kid!
