I can confidently say that Black Vault Gaming is one of the best local game stores in Metro Detroit for Magic: The Gathering players. If you’re looking for a Modern tournament scene, competitive-level events, or well-run Magic: The Gathering prerelease events, this is the place to be. The Modern tournaments are organized, competitive, and attract strong players, but the atmosphere is still welcoming and community-focused. Their prerelease events are always smooth, fun, and professionally managed with great prizes and an awesome turnout every time. Beyond events, Black Vault Gaming is my go-t

Went in yesterday looking for a new local card shop and I was impressed! They have a much wider selection then other stores I've been to: Tons of pack types to choose from, playmats, binders, deck boxes, storage options Just about everything you can think of. They also even have a retro game section which was awesome, both games and accessories. Store was super clean and the guys at the counter were amazing and friendly and helped me find some singles I wanted. I will definately be returning. :)

Awesome vibe. Clean. Great place to buy/sell/play cards. Prices are good, and their website kicks ass. Much better website than competitors for buying. You can lookup any cards you might want (see them), put em in your cart, pay, and they'll be ready for you. Staff is friendly. Parking is good.

My neighborhood card shop. These folks are new to the area, but seam to be in it for the community. I called a couple weeks before my most recent visit, just to get a feel for what they had. Gentleman was super nice on the phone, and just as helpful in person. I picked up a Gengar mat for my desk and a sweet pin to match for 5 bucks. I didn’t see any cards I was actively hunting but did check on some of his prices, and he is right in the ball park. He also Informed me you can see any card in their store on their sight. I love binders full of everyone’s doubles so I don’t have to buy packs al

Have gone to 2 Magic the Gathering prereleases here. Staff is so nice, games are run well. Clean bathrooms too! They give away so many extras, it's been an amazing experience. Will keep coming here for prereleases in the future.

I liked this shop cause they have lots of one piece and made some purchases in the past for my master sets and just buying cause of the art work, but they have screwed me a couple times. The first time I was about to buy two Luffy cards for $7 each when I asked to see if I can get it lowered they said they can’t so I said I’ll still get them and when the person who was going to ring me up said that they are on TCG for $30 a card now then another person said they can’t sell it for $7 so I left with nothing. I didn’t buy anything there for a bit until I made another purchase a week ago and every

First visited the shop during their Grand Opening in June when I was just getting into OPTCG. Needless to say, I was just as impressed then as I was now! Shoutout to Nick and Tre for creating an inviting space to play with others and an opportunity to engage in the hobby. This is the only store I need moving forward and I strongly recommend whoever is reading this to do the same! Always grateful, Jay.

Shop staff and general crowd are always super welcoming, helpful and friendly, whether I'm shopping for something I'm already into or looking to get into something new. This is my go to spot to get my TCG fix, despite it being quite a far drive for me. There is always a large selection to choose from, so never be afraid to ask about stuff in there. My collections grow with each and every visit. =u=
