They are very knowledgeable! This store always has the best products and plenty of them, at good prices!   This place is great for a variety of sports and non sports cards. My son loves to collect race car cards and we love the variety and selection of the store. When my son wanted to put some of his special cards in a protective case the owner helped us find the right kind of case and put them in the case for us before we left the store. Everyone we've met who works at the store has been really helpful and friendly and it's definitely a great local business!

  Sells re sealed pokemon packs. Bought 5 packs from the same booster box. Packs were very easy to open, not tight on the flap on the back of the pack and the card with the redeem code inside it was already badly creased. The crimps were awful. Although it could happen it's extremely rare, got two of the exact same Mega Gengar EX from the same booster box. Didn't notice until I opened the first pack it was obviously resealed. On top of that, prices are extremely high compared to the market. Notably a Fossil holo Articuno NOT FIRST EDITION raw with damaged corners scratched like crazy and wouldn'

  This place is one of the best around! If You say they're resealing packs or being shady you're just upset because you didn't get hits. These guys have been around since the 90's for a reason..as far as lowballing cards they buy from you. What do you expect for your cards? Full retail? Lol. They have to resell the card so ofcourse they will pay below comps. Anyone not giving this place 4 or 5 stars is a complete fool.

  I have been a loyal customer at Batter Up for about two decades now. I am originally from New England, but moved to the west coast when I was young. However, I always make a pit stop to Batter Up just about every single time I am in town. Jimmy has an outstanding variety of trading cards and Red Sox memorabilia every single time I visit, and the service he provides is truly second-to-none. I have bought countless things over the years at Batter Up, including a neon Red Sox clock and an autographed Curt Schilling framed photo.   This was a pretty cool little card and sports memorabilia shop. I thought they had a pretty good selection of card of all types of sports and even Pokémon and Magic the Gathering. It was the weekend so the owner wasnt there. One of my good friends is huge into cards and compared some prices to other shops. Only the owner could negotiate prices, which is understandable. We had a great time and got some cool cards! Definitely recommend checking this place out.

  I’ve been going to batter up since I was a little kid I absolutely love this store they have so many trading cards from football and baseball to lots and lots of Pokémon cards and items. They have like everything in the store definitely go in and check it out I’m sure you will leave with at least some thing in your hand!
