  I definitely don’t recommend this company to anyone looking to grade gaming consoles. I had almost $700 of hidden additional fees on a $2100 order. Initial grading price for an Xbox X was $250, but my invoice after I shipped it in was $630 for Xbox x plus “11 3pc rails”. Called in to try to get an explanation of what the rails were and the lady just gave me some nonsense explanation of “policy” and “inspection”, made no sense. Then I got hit with an additional $400 to get them shipped back to me. Also got charged $210 for an N64 they wouldn’t even grade, so I essentially paid that amount for

  One special piece or preserving an entire collection, Action Figure Authority (AFA) continues to provide an incredible & trusted service for protecting/grading my most prized collectibles. As a 25 year collector of G1 sealed Transformers, I remember collecting pre-AFA, and it sure was fun, but of course, everything was worth a whole lot less back then. Today and for the past 6 years, I’ve realized an all-new joy in collecting while rebuilding and preserving what I once had, with great thanks to AFA. I still love all the toys just the same, but AFA grading & preservation just adds to the fun

  I have no clue where these good reviews are coming from!! My husband and I sent action figures to be graded on June 2021, as we have done many times before, however, calling their service subpar would be a huge understatement!! The estimated time they provided us with was 3-4 months, which is a lot, but acceptable. 13+ months later and nothing!! They take days to answer an email just to say that our AF are in the queue. What type of queue is this???? And if you try to call them, good luck with that!! Never again!!

  Good customer service communication but not pleased with their website or ambiguous grading services. Submitted an open item on the qualified grading scale, and was refused service as item was not factory new contents. Yes, that's why I submitted it as an open item. Customer service was very good in answering my questions, but the company's position that they do not grade used items, but will grade open items, is a gray area that needs clarification. Had they taken the time to be more clear on their website, or just state "we do not grade open items" I would not have bothered to submit. Inste

  After they received my item , it was hard to get any updates and it took almost seven months . They charged me for a custom case and then refused my item and refused to send me the difference for the custom case. I'm shipping mine to the UK , for now on . Never had problems yet.
