Brendan is a great employee. He hosts one piece and has reignited my passion for comics so much I just come in to buy both. Would recommend this store to anyone who wants to get into comics and want a nice chill place to play the one piece card game

My kids specifically request to come to this comic spot. After developing a love and interest in comics over the summer, we stopped in and we've never stopped coming back. Brendan is mad cool, makes my kids feel so welcomed and never like they don't belong there and...I think I leave with something he recommends every time.

What an amazing store! The store manager Brenden is such a great influence on the community encouraging creativity and curiosity. I can really see why there are so many regulars that keep coming back.

If it wasn't for Brendan I wouldn't have made Action City my comic book shop of choice. I've been coming weekly for almost a year now because he creates such a welcoming atmosphere.

Brendan, the guy in charge during the day, is not only one of the kindest individuals i’ve ever met, but also clearly loves Action City Comics and the community it has fostered more than anyone in the world. I am happy to offer my patronage multiple times a week.

Incredibley inviting space, with a friendly, generous manager who makes everyone welcome. Great range of well cared for back issues, a plethora of toys, and all the modern issues you could ask for. Fantastic!

I'm glad there is a comics bookstore in my neighborhood. They have some nice classic hard cover version of comic book for a collector. Lots of interesting stuff, not only books like cards game, original arts, model, action figures etc.

Out of the comic book shops in north Brooklyn, this place is the best when it comes to a mix of indie and mainstream titles. Also has a weekly newsstand rack that’s up to date. Besides a ton of graphic novels and newsstand, there are a few boxes of older comics and collectibles but Comic Book Station, a few blocks away, has more if that’s what you want. I also appreciate their toy and figurines- from Mha, Aot, to ninja turtles and marvel. A nice mix dead stock and nostalgic reissues. I’ve been coming here for a few years …. The owner is chill and knowledgeable. Today I had a bad experience
